Willow Wahoo History

The Willow Wahoo Swim Team is a member of the Southwest Aquatic League. Other league members include; Bellaire, Southwest United, and West University. Willow has been competing in this league for over 20 years. The mascot, Wahoo, was adopted in 1998. The Wahoos were league champs in 2001 and 2002.

Swim Team Goals

The Willow Wahoo Swim Team encourages neighborhood youngsters to develop an appreciation for competitive swimming in an environment that stresses good sportsmanship and skill improvement.

Registration

A swim team registration form will be at the pool. To be eligible for swim team, a child must be five years of age by June 1st. Swim team practice will begin Monday May 10th, and will be held daily Monday - Friday

Meet coaches and ask questions Sunday, May 23rd, 7:00 pm at the pool.

2010 Practice Schedule

6 years and under:        4:00-4:30pm     7:15-8:00am
7 & 8 years old:             4:30-5:30pm     8:00-9:00am
9 & 10 years old:           5:30-6:30pm     9:00-10:00am
11 years & older:           6:30-7:30pm   10:00-11:00am
13 - 17 years old: 11:00 - noon 11:00 - noon

Members: $75 for one child, $50 for each sibling.
Non-Members:$125 for one child, $75 each sibling
